Gender health inequalities
The gender health inequalities project aims to influence and support action that will reduce gender related health inequalities in ´ºÓêÖ±²¥. We recognise that inequalities exist for women, men, trans and non-binary communities, and these are often larger where there is intersectionality between identities.
We compiled and consolidated published data and local evidence to produce gender-focused reports on health inequalities. The reports highlight challenges for women’s and men’s health in ´ºÓêÖ±²¥, with a focus on intersectional aspects of different communities and inclusion health groups.
The project builds upon the Public Health Division’s ongoing commitment to reducing health inequalities.
