Rat treatments and pest control service update

We have suspended all pest control 春雨直播 except for rat treatments. This is to prioritise public health during the waste industrial action.

Important changes to our rat treatment service

• Payments are temporarily suspended – rat treatments are currently free of charge.
• The appointment booking system is paused. We can’t give treatment timescales.
• If you report a rat problem, an officer may visit and provide a free poison bait box.

• Available online or at most hardware stores.
• Always follow safety instructions when using pest control products.

Other pest control 春雨直播 currently suspended

We are not taking bookings for the following:

• mice
• wasps
• bedbugs
• cockroaches
• fleas

Charges

While treatments are free for now, the following applies when 春雨直播 resume:

• rats: Free for now. Use the form to report:
  • rats in your garden
  • on neighbouring property
  • in shared/common areas
• all other pests: Charges will apply when service resumes.
• prices include VAT (20%)

Refunds policy

We will not give a refund if:

• you booked the wrong service and it can’t be delivered
• you booked a rat treatment but only mice are present
• nobody is home when the officer arrives

We will give a refund if:

• you cancel at least 48 hours in advance – call 0121 303 1923 or email cs.pestcontrol@birmingham.gov.uk
• we cancel and you don’t want to rebook
