About the park

For those with a passion for football this state-of-the art site is an ideal location. A £750,000 project – backed by a Football Foundation grant – has seen the public open space at Wishaw Lane transformed into a first-class community sports facility.

It now consists of 4 full-sized football pitches and 2 five-a-side pitches, making it a great venue for everything from 11-a-side matches through to junior games and practice sessions.

There is also a newly-built pavilion and club house with changing rooms and refreshment facilities.

The site is run by and home to , an expanding community football club with teams of all ages participating in the Central Warwickshire Youth League, Tamworth League and Lichfield and District Recreational League.

Pitches can be booked on a pay and play basis. Sportsco also run a number of coaching and taster sessions, as well as a mini league, which are available to young girls and boys. For more details, visit .
