The Anchor Inn at the corner of Islington Row and Tennant Street, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥. The photograph was taken in 1965.
Islington Row has now become part of the ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Ring Road (A4540) and this location on the junction with Tennant Street is now occupied by the Five Ways Shopping Centre. A pub called The Crusader was built as part of the shopping centre at this corner, although it has since closed.
The photograph was taken by ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ City Council Public Works Department.
